These are open rectangular bins sewn from heavy off-white canvas. A short webbing handle is set on each long side. Some sizes include a clear label window on the front for a paper insert. The sides are soft. They take a square shape when the bin is filled with books, toiletries, or folded clothes, and they slump a little when the bin is empty.
The bins are meant to slide onto open shelving. They are not rigid drawers and will not replace a file cabinet. Canvas arrives creased from the package; reshape the walls with your hands after you unpack. Spot clean only. Do not machine wash, or the handles and window patch can twist.
The undyed cloth can pick up dye from dark or wet items stored against the lining. Keep damp laundry and new dark denim in a separate bag if you use the large size as a hamper stand-in. The label window is only a sleeve; it is not waterproof. Write on a card, not on the canvas.
